Halocarbon’s Recently Launched Chinese-language and Japanese-language Web Sites Provide Additional Support
River Edge, NJ – October 2, 2006 – Halocarbon Products Corporation, one of the world’s leading producers of specialty fluorochemcials, today announced its increasing commitment to its global customer base by cementing key distributor relationships in China, Japan and Europe.
The growing operations and distribution network helps deliver on Halocarbon’s commitment to continued global expansion of its products and services.
In China, Halocarbon’s product distribution will be handled by Nanjing Guochen Chemicals Company. In Japan, Daikin Fine Chemical Laboratory and Tosco Company, Ltd. will handle distribution. European distribution will be handled by a number of distributors including Ballu Chimie (United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Austria and Benelux countries) and Wirtz-Chemieprodukte GMBH (Germany).

Halocarbon sales and marketing director Ron Epstein is responsible for the company’s three product lines – fluorochemicals, oils/greases/waxes and inhalation anesthetics – and, with his newly expanded marketing staff, will manage the distributor relationships. “We are excited to now have a direct presence in each of these markets,” noted Mr. Epstein. “Solidifying these distributor relationships is just the first in a series of steps in Halocarbon’s global expansion plans. Chinese and Japanese Web Sites Launched for Broader Appeal
Halocarbon has also launched Chinese and Japanese versions of its web site. “The addition of the Chinese and Japanese language web sites further support our global customer service and sales efforts and provide our distributors with another way to educate potential customers about Halocarbon’s fluorochemicals offerings,” said Mr. Murin. “The importance of fluorochemicals continues to grow in these areas; it was an easy decision to invest in tools that make Halocarbon easy to work with on the global level.”
