Hexafluoroacetone Trihydrate

Hexafluoroacetone trihydrate is used as a building block in organic synthesis.

Anhydrous hexafluoroacetone is a colorless gas. It can be generated from the trihydrate by distillation from concentrated sulfuric acid.
